About this plant
Description Aristolochia is a plant. The parts that grow above the ground and the root are used to make medicine. Aristolochia reticulata is a PERENNIAL growing to 0.4 m (1ft 4in). It is in flower from May to July. The flowers are hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs) and are pollinated by Flies. Suitable for: medium (loamy) soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: acid, neutral, and basic (alkaline) soils. It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade. It prefers moist soil.
